AFTERCARE
1. Remove bandage within 2 - 4 Hours of receiving your tattoo.
2. Immediatley wash the tattoo with anti-bacterial soap and warm water. Remove all dried blood by gently rubbing the tattoo with your finger tips and soapy water. DO NOT USE ANYTHING ABRASIVE.
3. Pat dry with a clean towel or cloth.
4. Apply a VERY light coat of A&D or Aquaphor to your tattoo. DO NOT OVER USE. Do this a few times a day for 4 days.
5. During the first week wash the tattoo two times a day with antibacterial soap. You can take showers but try to avoid letting the tattoo soak under constant water. ABSOLUTELY no chlorinated water or standing water (lakes, rivers etc.) for at least 2 weeks.
6. After 4 days, switch from the ointment to a non scented lotion. Use for at least 2 weeks.
7. Avoid direct sunlight on your tattoo for 3 weeks and no tanning. Sun light is the leading cause for fading in tattoos so make sure that you always apply spf sunblock to your healed tattoos if you are planning on being out in the sun for long durations.
8. Please consult a physician immediately if any signs or symptoms of infection occurs such as : yellow or green discharge, pus, fever or significant redness or swelling.
SHOP POLICIES
Deposits:
Walk-ins are welcome but appointments are recommended. Consultations and quotes are free of charge. Deposits are required for custom artwork and are applied to the cost of the tattoo. Tattoo prices are based on an hourly rate and are individually quoted by the artist depending on size, detail, color and time. Appointments require a deposit which must be made in person. We do not accept credit cards over the phone.
Cancellation Policy:
In an effort to accommodate as many clients as possible during the limited time available during a given week, it is necessary to have a cancellation policy that is fair and reasonable for all concerned. It is in the spirit of showing respect for each other that the following policy was created. To avoid forfeiting your deposit, cancellations must be made two (2) days in advance. By providing two (2) days of notice you are also helping people on the wait list with sufficient time to respond to new appointment opportunities.
If you miss your appointment or are late, you must leave another deposit and this will be kept as payment for loss of work. You also understand that no one under 18 will be allowed to be tattooed or pierced without consent and is not grounds for deposit return.

Age Requirements:
Red Sky will only tattoo clients 17 and over with proper identification which include; State issued drivers license or military ID. School ID's and Birth Certificates are not considered acceptable proof of identification. 17 year olds must also be accompanied by a parent who must also provide proper identification as stated above.
